One man was injured and another was killed dead after a shooting in the 3100 block of West North Avenue on Tuesday night, police said.

Police said officers were called to the scene at approximately 7:30 p.m., where they found an adult male with a gunshot wound to his stomach. The unidentified man was transported to an area hospital for treatment, police said.

Later that night, another adult male walked into an area hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg. Police believe both victims were shot in the same area by the same suspect.

One of the victims, a 26-year-old man, died at Shock Trauma at approximately 1:20 a.m. May 3 from gunshot wounds in the left buttocks, police said.

Detectives from the Baltimore Police Citywide Shooting Unit are investigating this incident, and any witnesses are asked to call Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7LOCKUP.
