A 30-year-old man was found with a gunshot wound to the back in the 3300 block of Caton Avenue on Tuesday night, police said.
Police said the victim, Kevin Watkins of the 7300 block of Archsine Lane, was found shot inside a vehicle when Southwest District officers arrived at the scene.
Watkins was transported to an area hospital where he later died from his injuries, police said.
The incident is currently being investigated by homicide detectives and they have not identified a suspect or determined a motive.
