A 43-year-old Owings Mills man was arrested Tuesday in connection with the death of his estranged wife and her boyfriend, police said.

Dominik Daniel Hersey of Chase Mill Circle was charged with two counts of  first-degree murder and is being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center, police said.

Baltimore County police and fire personnel discovered the bodies of Chinika Shari Hersey, 36, and her boyfriend, Steven Scott Campbell, 36, after responding to a cardiac arrest call to the 4100 block of Bald Eagle Court in Randallstown.

Police said they believe the victims were killed the previous night by Chinika’s estranged husband.

While no specific motive has been determined, authorities believe an ongoing dispute regarding their separation and custody of their children played a factor. Police said Hersey’s children were home the night of the incident, but were unharmed.
