A 4-year-old boy was shot Friday in his home in the 5800 block of Falkirk Avenue in Baltimore, police said.
The victim, currently being treated in an area hospital, is believed to have been shot by his 6-year-old brother, police said. The shooting was an accident that occurred after the two children found a handgun inside their home, police said.
The victim was taken to the hospital by his father who was at the residence at the time of the shooting, police said.
While the investigation is continuing, the victim is currently in stable condition and expected to survive, police said.
