Baltimore City Police said they were called to the 2300 block of East Monument Street Wednesday at 7 p.m. for a reported shooting.
According to police, when the officer arrived to the central-Baltimore location, a male victim was found with gunshot wounds to the body. He was taken to a local hospital where he is being treated for his injuries, according to reports.
Detectives said they believe that the victim was inside a convenience store when the suspect shot him. No other individuals were harmed during the shooting, according to police.
