A Baltimore County woman was found dead in her Nottingham home last night, police said.

Mayan Atilano Siason, 32, was found by family members returning home for the evening, police said. A 4-year-old child was also located inside the home, unharmed.

Police were dispatched to the 3800 block of Perryhurst Place at around 5:07 p.m. for a medical emergency, police said. Upon arrival, Siason was found inside the home on the floor with signs of trauma to the upper body, according to police.

Siason was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Police believe that this was not a random act and are continuing to investigate leads to determine a motive for the crime.
