Baltimore City police are attempting to identify a suspect in an armed robbery that occurred yesterday morning.

Police said the suspect walked into a Mom’s Organic Market on West 40th Street at about 11:42 a.m. Monday and passed a note to the cashier demanding money. The cashier believed the suspect was armed, though a gun was not drawn, police said.

After getting the money, the suspect was seen fleeing the area in a Checker Cab, police said.

Police described the subject as a white male in his late 30’s who is between 6 feet,1 inch to 6 feet4 inches tall. He has light colored eyes and is balding, police said.
Police ask that anyone with information about the suspect reach out to them.
