A 24-year-old man checked himself into MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital on Thursday with multiple gunshot wounds, police said.
Baltimore County Police Detectives were contacted on Friday after an investigation into a shooting by the Baltimore City Police Department led them to the Fairways at Towson Apartments, authorities said.
Police said that the victim was shot by an acquaintance after engaging in a verbal altercation in the 6900 block of Donachie Road.
The victim then fled to his own car and drove himself to the hospital, police said.
The victim was later transported to the R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center for further treatment and was released Saturday morning.
Police said that the suspect remains at large at this time and if anyone has any information regarding the incident, they should contact their local police department.
