An employee at the Quick Mart convenience store in the 6500 block of Loch Hill Road in Baltimore  was stabbed multiple times Dec. 5, police said.

The 39-year-old male victim suffered life threatening injuries and was transported to an area hospital after escaping the attack and running out the front door, police said.

The suspect fled the area and the Baltimore County Police Violent Crimes Unit is actively investigating the incident to determine if the crime was targeted.

Robbery is not suspected at this time, police said, and anyone with information on this incident should contact their local police department.
