A murder suspect has been arrested and is being held without bail for the Nov. 4 shooting of 18-year-old Fredrick Tindall  , police said.

Police said they arrested Sterlyn Butcher, 21, of the 3900 block of Mcdowwell Lane on Nov. 5 and charged him with first- and second- degree murder along with other felony charges.

Police said they responded to a shooting at the 2000 block of Boyd Street just before 1 a.m. on Nov. 4, where they found Tindall, of the 3700 block of Hayward Avenue, suffering from a gunshot wound to the torso.

Tindall was transported to Shock Trauma where he died from his injuries a short time later, police said.
