A double shooting in Essex on Nov. 11 left one man dead and another injured, police said.

According to Baltimore County police, the incident occurred around 1:05 a.m. when the 19-year-old victim answered a knock at his Seagate Court residence and was immediately shot in the upper body. Police said a second victim standing behind him was shot at least once in the lower body.

Once police and medics arrived to the scene, the 19-year-old was pronounced dead and the second victim was transported to an area hospital where he was treated for his injuries but expected to survive, police said.

The police are still looking for the suspect at large. If anyone has any information please call Baltimore County police, (410)-307-2020
