A man was shot in the lower body last night while delivering pizza to the 4000 block of Sanlee Road in Randallstown, police said.

The delivery man, noted by police as being an adult male, attempted his delivery around 10 p.m. when he was approached by at least one suspect, police said. According to Baltimore County police, the individuals had a brief verbal exchange and shots were fired with at least one hitting the delivery man.

The suspect fled the scene while the pizza delivery man was able to drive his vehicle back to his place of occupation and receive help until being transported to an area hospital. He was treated for his injuries and is expected to survive, police said.

County police said they have reason to believe  the incident was arranged and targeted on the delivery man. If anyone has any information regarding this incident, please call (410)-307-2020.
