A man was killed and a 10-month-old infant suffered a nonfatal gunshot wound to the leg Sunday, police said.
Medics took both victims to an area hospital for treatment, police said. The man, who was transported to Sinai Hospital, was pronounced dead shortly after arriving, police said.
Detectives learned that while the victims sat on the porch on the 2800 block of Keyworth Avenue, three suspects approached on foot and opened fire, police said.
The suspects fled on foot, shooting a potential witness inside a vehicle, police said. The adult victim sustained a nonfatal graze wound.
Police are asking that anyone with information contact homicide detectives at 410-396-2100 or call the Metro Crime Stoppers tip line at 1-866-7-LOCKUP.
