A 51-year-old man is in intensive care after suffering from a gunshot wound to the side of his face early Thursday morning, police said.
Police were called to the scene at approximately 3:07 a.m. in the 1100 block of Winchester Street where the victim was located, police said.
The victim was transported to a hospital in the area where he is now under treatment, police said.
Citywide shooting detectives now have the shooting under investigation and are asking anyone with any information to call immediately, police said.
