Baltimore County fire officials were on the scene of a three-alarm fire at a local warehouse in Baltimore Highlands for nearly 24 hours this week, according to police reports.
Authorities said they have not determined the cause of the fire at Adell Plastics, Inc., in the 4500 block of Annapolis Road in Halethorpe. Police said authorities responded to the fire at 1:07 p.m. on Tuesday and were still on the scene at 1 p.m. Wednesday.
There were no reported civilian injuries, but one firefighter was treated for heat exhaustion, police said. Annapolis Road was closed from Nursery Road to Virginia Avenue.
Responders successfully prevented the fire from spreading to any hazardous materials with the use of over 55 pieces of fire equipment and at least 200 personnel.
