A 16-year-old male was charged with first-degree assault and other charges for allegedly attacking a 10th grade student near Kenwood High School in Baltimore last month, county police said.
Police said Shane Kaleipaihala Pule Jr. of the unit block of Dogwood Road in Baltimore pulled a handgun out of his backpack and pointed it at the victim shortly after the victim confronted him about a previous incident.
The victim was not injured during the incident, police said. Investigators have recovered the .45-caliber handgun used by Pule, police said.
Pule was released on $100,000 bail, police said. The Essex Precinct Investigative Services Team is investigating the incident.
