Baltimore City police are investigating a suspected murder in the 600 block of Yale Avenue after responding to a shooting incident yesterday around 5:20 p.m.
Police say they found a 22-year-old male who was suffering from a gunshot wound to his torso. The male, who has yet to be identified, was transported to shock trauma at the University of Maryland Medical Center, where he died from his injuries.
Homicide investigators believe that the victim may have been attempting to purchase drugs in the area. As the victim tried to drive away, police said, an unknown suspect shot him in the torso before the victim crashed his car.
