A 44-year-old man has been charged with second-degree murder in connection with a fatal shooting on Aug. 5 in Randallstown, police said.

Kresslin Vondez Clark Sr. was indicted by a Baltimore County grand jury on Sept. 7 and was later released on a $250,000 bond, police said.

Police said Clark fatally shot 32-year-old Daniel Anthony Lyles of Parksville once in the upper body during an argument at Fat Daddy’s Crabs in the 9000 block of Liberty Road. Lyles was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Investigators said Lyles was an employee at Fat Daddy’s Crabs, which is owned by Clark.

Clark told police that Lyles approached him and threatened to kill him while reaching for his waistband.

A folding knife clipped to the front of Lyles’ belt was later found by investigators, police said.

The incident remains under investigation by the Baltimore County Police Homicide Unit.
