Baltimore County police will be broadcasting a local cable program throughout October that will emphasize public safety and other issues, police said.

According to police, the opening segment of the show will be focused on pedestrian and traffic safety, one of the main problems police deal with during the opening of school.

Captain Donna Benton will run the second segment, which will discuss daily police operations in Baltimore County.

The show, which will be called Police Report, will air five times a week in Baltimore County only on Comcast Channel 25 and Verizon FIOS Channel 25, police said. It can also be accessed on the county’s website.

To watch the video on the website, select “Police Report” on the video page at www.baltimorecountymd.gov/videogallery.
