A woman died Tuesday morning in a car crash that occurred on Westland Boulevard in Arbutus, Baltimore County police said.
The driver was identified as Jessica Lauren Bowen, 24, of the 4700 block of Amberley Avenue. She was transported to Saint Agnes hospital, where she was pronounced dead, according to police.
Police said Bowen was traveling eastbound on Westland Boulevard when the car entered the westbound lane and struck a Ram van head on. The van then hit an unoccupied vehicle that was parked.
The driver of the van was transported to R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center. His current condition is unknown.
Baltimore County police are still investigating the incident.
