Man dies after being stabbed in the back

A man died from traumatic injuries after being stabbed multiple times Friday afternoon in the Northeast District of Baltimore, police said.

Police said the victim, an adult man, was stabbed in the back and died a short time after arriving at an area hospital.

A suspect has been taken into custody, but no charges have been filed, police said.

According to police, the victim was attacked after being involved in a verbal altercation with the suspect. The incident occurred at about 2:45 p.m. in the 1400 block of Aisquith Street, police said.

Homicide detectives are investigating this murder and are asking anyone with information to call (410) 396-2100 or call Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7LOCKUP.
