Two people injured in Baltimore shootings

Two people were shot in the Western and Eastern districts of Baltimore on March 11 and are currently being treated for their wounds, according to police.

Police said the first shooting occurred in the 2300 block of Druid Hill Avenue at 9:30 p.m. The 29-year-old man was shot multiple times and was transported to the area hospital to be treated for his injuries.

The second victim was a 27-year-old man who was shot in the hip, police said The incident occurred  in the 2000 block of Kennedy Avenue by an unknown suspect. Police were called in to investigate when the man walked into a nearby hospital to be treated.

Both incidents are being investigated by detectives from the Citywide Shooting Unit. Anyone who has information is asked to call Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7Lookup.
