An unidentified man was injured Monday after being shot in the 4900 block of Schaub Avenue in Baltimore, police said.

Police arrived on the scene to discover the victim with gunshot wounds to his torso and arm. The victim was transported to a local hospital, but there is no word on his condition, police said.

A preliminary investigation determined that two unknown suspects forced their way into the victim’s home and attempted to rob him. The victim was shot in the struggle, police said.

The two suspects fled the home and got away in a silver car that could possibly be an Acura, police said.

The police would like to ask the public to provide any information they have about the incident by calling 410-396-2221 or call Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7LOCKUP.
