A 33-year-old woman and 32-year-old man  were injured Saturday in two shootings in the 4400 block of Pennsylvania Avenue in Baltimore, police said.

The incident occurred at about 9:30 p.m. when officers were called to the area on a report of a shooting.

Police said they discovered the woman with a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the shoulder. A short time after the victim was transported to a hospital for treatment, the male victim walked into an area hospital for treatment, police said.

Citywide shooting detectives determined that both victims were shot in the same block, but have yet to confirm whether the two shootings were related, police said.

The identities of the victims have not been released.

It is also unclear if both victims were admitted to the same hospital.

Police would like to ask anyone with information regarding either shooting to contact citywide shooting detectives at 410-396-2221. If you would like to remain anonymous, police still encourage you to call their tip line at 1-866-7LOCKUP.
