Two city men were arrested Friday after Eastern District operations conducted a search and seizure in the 2700 block of East Madison Street following an on-going investigation, police said.
Sergio Hopkins, 26, of the 2700 block of E. Madison Street and Marcus Aye, 27, of the 2700 block of E. Madison Street were arrested during the investigation, police said.
During the search and seizure, detectives uncovered two loaded firearms, ammunition, 26 bags of cocaine, one bag containing 20.5 grams of suspected marijuana, 151 prepackaged bags of suspected marijuana and narcotic manufacturing materials, police said.
Once arrested, Hopkins and Aye were transported to Central Booking and Intake Facility where they were charged with various firearm and narcotic violations. Hopkins and Aye are also both prohibited from carrying a firearm.
Hopkins is being held on a $50,000 bail while Aye is being held on a $25,000 bail, police said.
