A 30-year-old Gwynn Oaks man was killed early Sunday morning when he was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene, police said.

Police discovered the body of Jermine Lamont Taylor in the front yard of a home in the 6700 block of Windsor Mill Road in Gwynn Oak at about 6:45 a.m.

Police said the initial investigation into the crash indicates that Taylor was struck while he was walking on Windsor Mill Road near Lukewood Drive. Taylor lived in the 3200 block of Richwood Avenue in Gwynn Oak.

Investigators believe that the suspected vehicle is a 1999 to 2000 Chevrolet Silverado Tahoe or Suburban with damage to the right side headlight and right mirror with possible damage to the windshield.

The crash is still under investigation by the Baltimore County Police Crash Team.

Anyone with information on the crash is asked to call police at 410-307-2020.
