Update: The Baltimore County Police have identified the Middle River man and woman in the domestic-related murder-suicide on Tuesday as Muhammadu S. Igomigoh, 49, of the 300 block of Shagbark Road, and Nnenna L. Ogbonna, 44, of the 700 block of Northrup Lane.

According to police, Igomigoh shot Ogbonna, who was his estranged girlfriend, then shot himself.

The couple had two children together but did not live in the same house, police said. Detectives determined that Igomigoh went to Ogbonna’s house on Tuesday and the two fought over financial matters.

The gun that Igomigoh used was legally registered to him, police said, adding that he used the weapon for his job as a security guard.

Previous story: A man and woman were found dead in a Middle River house Tuesday and police say they are investigating it as a possible domestic-related murder/suicide.

Police said they responded to a report of a shooting in the 700 block of Northrop Lane at about  12:26 p.m. and found  a man and woman in the house with gunshot wounds.

The two were declared dead at the scene, police said.

The shooting is still under investigation by the Baltimore County Police Homicide Unit.
