Seventy-nine fire and EMS staff members were recognized during a promotion ceremony for the Baltimore County Fire Department Wednesday.
Five individuals were promoted to division chief, three to battalion chief, three to fire director and three to EMS lieutenant. Angela Taury was the only staff member promoted to EMS captain.
Other promotional categories included fire lieutenant, paramedic, fire specialist and fire apparatus driver operator.
Chaplain Hugh H. Mills delivered the Invocation and Benediction, and Clerk of the Court Julie Ensor gave the Oath of Office.
Baltimore County Executive Kevin Kamenetz and Fire Chief John J. Hohman also attended the ceremony.
