Baltimore County police are investigating what is considered an “attempt robbery” that occurred on Monday night in the 200 block of Maryland Avenue, about a half a mile away from Towson University’s campus.
Police said the suspects got out of their car and approached the victim and demanded his money and property. Nothing was taken and the victim was able to get away, police said.
The attempted robbery was reported to the Towson University community the next day via email. The email also contained safety precautions that people should take to avoid being robbed.
The Baltimore County Police encourage anyone who witnessed the crime or has information about it to notify the department at 410-887-2361.
