A three-story house in Ruxton was damaged Friday morning in a two-alarm fire that spread quickly through the building because of the structure of the wood house, officials said.

The house in the 1000 block of Rolandvue Road was vacant at the time of the fire and no one was seriously injured, fire official said.

They said one of the 50 firefighters on the scene was sent to Greater Baltimore Medical Center after he said he was feeling faint.

The cause of the fire remains unknown and is still under investigation, authorities said.

The commanders evacuated all fire personnel from the house as they attempted to put out the fire from the outside.
