A woman is expected to survive after she was run over by a driver in a pickup truck Sunday night in Idlewylde, police said.
After the incident, the victim was transported to a local hospital, police said.
Police believe the victim had been riding in the pickup truck with the suspect, when she and the driver stopped at the intersection of Sherwood and Overbrook roads.
When the woman attempted to get back in the truck, she was pushed out and run over by the suspect, police said. Police said that when they arrived at the scene the victim was found lying in the roadway.
The victim believes the suspect ran over her intentionally, police said.
