A Cockeysville man is recovering from a gunshot wound he sustained while at Oregon Ridge Park on Monday night, police said.

The victim told police he had went to the park’s closed swimming area with three other males and while there, one of them shot him in the upper torso. The victim was able to flee through a wooded area and call for help from the Oregon Ridge Nature Center.

The Baltimore County Police Violent Crimes Unit is investigating the shooting and is asking anyone with information on this incident to call police at 410-307-2020.
