A Baltimore County policewoman has been suspended without pay after being charged in connection with an ongoing narcotics investigation, authorities said.

Sarah Campbell, 32, who has been a member of the Baltimore County Police Department for five years, was charged with manufacturing a controlled dangerous substance,  possession of marijuana and possession of CDS paraphernalia. She was released on $15,000 bail.

Clifford Campbell, 32, was also charged with the same crimes. Both also face charges pertaining to firearm possession, police said.

Clifford Campbell is being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center on $75,000 bail, police said.

Police said the charges against Sarah Campbell have been adjudicated and an internal investigation will follow.

On Oct. 14, local police and agents from  the Drug Enforcement Administration served a search and seizure warrant for an apartment in Baltimore County.

The apartment contained narcotics and weapons, police said.
