PD looking for shooting suspect

Baltimore County police are searching for a suspect who they say shot a man in Essex last night.

According to police, the incident occurred at about 7:13 p.m., when officers responded to a report of shots fired at the intersection of Middleborough Road and Hartland Road.

Upon arriving at the location, police said they found the adult male victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the lower body. Police said the victim was transported to a local hospital and is expected to survive.

Police said the victim reported that he was standing at the bus stop when an unknown suspect shot him.

The incident is currently under investigation by the Baltimore County Police Violent Crimes Unit.
