Baltimore County Police have put out a notice seeking public assistance in locating a missing person from the Essex area.
Joseph Harrison Ford, 24, is believed to be in an “emotional crisis” and may be armed with a shotgun, police said. Ford is just over six feet tall, 170 pounds, with blue eyes, brown hair and a beard, police said. They said he is believed to be wearing blue uniform pants and shirt and black boots, police said.
Police said Ford is believed to be operating a white 2000 Ford F150 truck with black roll bars in the back with Maryland tags reading 1BF3913.
Ford was last seen on Monday 3:44 p.m. at home on Sue Avenue.
Police have asked anyone who has seen Ford or his vehicle, or anyone who has any information about the case, to call 911 immediately.
