Six men have been charged in connection with the Aug. 9 shooting in Middle River that left a man dead, police said.

Keith Harrison, 18, of Cherryland Road, Michael Jobes, 20, of 32nd Street, Hassan Jones, 18, of Wilkens Avenue, Christian Tyson, 18, of Adelle Terrace, and Ramart Wilson, 19, of South Monastary Avenue were charged with first-degree murder and are being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center, police said.

Police said Jobes, Jones, Tyson and Ramart are Baltimore residents. Harrison is a resident of Brooklyn.

Detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Karrem Riley, 19, of Lyndhurst Avenue, charging him with first-degree murder. Police said they took Riley into custody in New York. Riley was extradited to Maryland sometime yesterday, police said.

Police responded to a cardiac arrest call at 4:28 a.m. on Aug. 9 on Dark Head Road and Redthorn Road and discovered Sandeep Bhulai, 26, of the 2200 block of Redthord Road, lying in a grassy area.

Bhulai had suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was declared dead at the scene, police said.

Bhulai had just returned from work and was sitting in his car when the suspects, who had come to the neighborhood to steal a car, approached him, police said. The suspects pulled Bhulai out of the vehicle and took his wallet and cell phone. Police said the victim was shot with three different caliber guns.

The suspects fled the scene, police said.
