A Baltimore City firefighter was arrested on Wednesday after allegedly assaulting a man in a Loch Raven Taco Bell parking lot last week, police said.

Devon Darrel Scott, 25, was released on $25,000 bail after being charged with first-degree assault and second-degree assault, police said.

Police said they responded to a report of a fight on April 30, where they found the victim, an adult male, with a knife wound. Police say that during an altercation between Scott and the victim, Scott cut the victim on the neck with a knife.

The victim, who is unidentified at this time, is expected to survive after being transported to a hospital for treatment. Scott was off-duty at the time of the altercation.
