An Edgemere man was charged with attempted first-degree murder in connection with a May 3 shooting in Catonsville that left a man injured, police said.
Antwonze Degama Johnson, 50, of the 5300 block of Dogwood Road, was also charged with first-degree assault and use of a firearm in a felony crime.
Johnson was released on a $25,000 bail.
Police said they were called to Leslie Avenue at about 10:21 a.m. and found an adult male victim suffering from a single gunshot wound to the upper body. Police said he was taken to the hospital and is expected to recover.
According to police, the victim and an adult male suspect were having an argument at the location. During the argument, the suspect shot the victim once.
