A man was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Freeland Thursday morning, police said.
Baltimore County Police responded to reports at about 6:45 a.m. of a serious crash involving an overturned vehicle between Middletown Road and Beckleysville Road.
The driver, identified as 22-year-old David Justin Waddell of the 1000 block of Fairview Drive in Hanover, Pennsylvania, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
After an investigation, police reported that the driver was traveling south-bound in a 1995 Dodge Neon on Middletown Road when the vehicle went off the roadway, struck a tree and was overturned on its roof.
Waddell was the only occupant of the vehicle.
