Police charged two people in connection with the stabbing of a man in  Dundalk on March 8, police said.

Rex Edward Holiday, 48, of Unit block of Allspice Court in Owings Mill was charged with attempted first-degree murder, first-degree assault and dangerous weapon with intent to injure, police said. Taney Antoinette Faust, 25, of the 500 block of Main Street of Dundalk was charged with accessory after the fact, police said.

Holiday is being held without bail and Faust is being held on $1 million bail.

Police said Faust got into an argument with the victim, which prompted Holiday to stab the man multiple times. Faust also tried to help Holiday avoid being caught by authorities, police said.

The man suffered multiple stab wounds and was rushed to a local hospital but is expected to live, police said.
