A local man was arrested by Baltimore County police for his involvement in two burglaries in the Catonsville area, police said.

Jonathan Martin Eppard, 24, of the 700-block of Edmonson Avenue, was charged with two counts of second-degree burglary and related charges. He was released on $7,500 bail.

Police said Eppard stole five chainsaws from one shed on Feb. 19 and power tools from a second shed on Feb. 23. The first incident occurred in the Unit block of Winters Lane while the second occurred in the 400-block of Hilton Avenue, police said..

Detectives believe that some of the owners of the recovered property may not even know that the property is missing. Police are asking anyone who may have been the victim of a recent shed burglary in the Catonsville area to call them at 410-887-6296.
