Update: Man found dead near elementary school

The man who was found dead near the Seneca Elementary School Wednesday suffered from multiple gunshot wounds, police said today.

Christopher Allen Hagerman, 22, was found several hundred yards from the school around 7 a.m. after police responded to a bypasser who found his body, Baltimore County police said.

Police said homicide detectives are investigating the death after the autopsy report said his death was caused by multiple gunshot wounds.

Earlier report

Baltimore County homicide detectives are investigating the death of a man whose body was found in Bowleys Quarters Wednesday morning.

The body was found behind the 3800 block of Bayville Road and police were called to the scene around 6:44 a.m.  The area is several hundred yards away from Seneca Elementary School, but not on school grounds, police said.

The man, who suffered upper body trauma, has not yet been identified, police said.
