Police investigate fatal accident

Baltimore County Police are investigating the death of a man in a fatal one-car crash that occurred Tuesday afternoon.

Police said the victim ran his vehicle into a tree in the 1600 block of Orlando Road in Towson at about 2:30 p.m.

There were no other vehicles involved in the incident.

Suspect injured after bank robbery

The suspect in a robbery of the Timonium Wells Fargo Bank remains hospitalized in stable condition after being struck by a police car while attempting to flee the scene, police said.

Police said the suspect entered the bank in the 2100 block of York Road multiple times on Feb. 20. During his last visit around 5 p.m., the suspect passed a note to one of the tellers and left the bank with cash. Officers responding to the bank call attempted to question him, but he fled from them on foot, police said.

Police said the suspect ran into the path of a responding police car and was struck by the vehicle, causing injuries to one of his legs.

The man was taken into custody on nearby Aylesbury Road and was immediately transported to an area hospital for treatment, police said.

Police have yet to identify the suspect but have said he will be charged in the incident after he is released from the hospital. Police said the suspect has two other arrest warrants from other jurisdictions.
