City man charged with 1st-degree attempted murder in double shooting

A 42-year-old Baltimore man was charged with two counts of attempted murder in connection with a double shooting that occurred on Tuesday, police said.

Henry Davis Jr. of the 2300 block of Windsor Avenue was arrested and booked after patrol officers received help from a police helicopter on Thursday after he bailed out of a vehicle and attempted to escape on foot.

A loaded semi-automatic handgun was found in the vehicle, police said.

Police said Davis was detained for his involvement in the double shooting that occurred  in the 1900 block of Walbrook Avenue.

The victims were two unidentified males. They both sustained non-life-threatening gunshot wounds, police said.
